WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HOW YOUR DATA IS PROCESSED?

WITH WHAT PURPOSE AND LEGITIMACY DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
– Contact
Your data is obtained for the purpose of managing and providing a response to your requests made via the contact area of our website. The legitimacy of said processing is based on the express consent you give when sending your request.
– Technical support
Your data is obtained for the purpose of managing and providing a response to the queries made to our experts. The legitimacy of said processing is based on the express consent you give when sending your request.
– Commercial communications
Satlink may occasionally send you commercial communications about its products and services. The legitimacy of these communications is based on express consent in the case of persons who are not customers of Satlink, and legitimate interest in the case of persons who are customers of Satlink.
– Potential customers
Satlink may process the data that identifies you and your professional contact details in order to maintain relations of any kind, and to inform you about Satlink products or services, at your request or with your permission. Said processing is legitimised by your express consent and by the legitimate interest that links the parties, under the provisions established in article 19 of the Personal Data Protection Act.
– Clients
Satlink processes its customers’ questions with the purpose of managing the contractual relationship that binds the parties. Said processing is legitimised by the performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations and legitimate interest.
– Suppliers
Satlink processes its customers’ questions with the purpose of managing the contractual relationship that binds the parties. Said processing is legitimised by the performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations and legitimate interest.
– Job candidates
If you have sent us your CV in order to be entered into our selection processes, Satlink will process your data with this sole purpose. The legitimacy of said processing is based on the express consent that the person gives when sending their application.
– Exercising rights and managing privacy
Satlink may process your data in order to manage your requests to exercise your rights on matters of data protection, or for any other necessary purpose to comply with data protection regulations. The legitimacy of said processing is based on compliance with a legal obligation.

WHO WILL WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITH?
Satlink will only share your personal data with third parties, bodies and public institutions from national, regional and local administrations, including jurisdictional bodies, with which it is legally required to do so.
In the case of customers and suppliers, the data may be shared with banks in order to manage collections and payments resulting from our contractual relationship.
In turn, Satlink has external suppliers, such as IT hosting services, consultancy firms, administrative agencies and similar, which will process your data following documented Satlink instructions and with the sole purpose for which the data was obtained. Accordingly, Satlink has entered into the pertinent data processing agreements.

HOW LONG WILL WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR?
Depending on the purpose for which your data is processed, the length of time during which we keep your data may vary.
– Contact, potential customers and technical support
If you contact Satlink to request information, your data will be held for a period of two years from the time of the last communication made by the user, with the period renewing after each user interaction or contact.
– Commercial communications
If you are not a customer of Satlink, your data will be processed for this purpose until you withdraw your consent or object to receiving communications from Satlink. If you are a customer, your data will continue to be held in order to manage our contractual relationship, but you will not receive any commercial communications once you have objected to being sent them.
– Customers and suppliers
The personal data of our customers and suppliers will be held for the duration of the contractual relationship, and afterwards until any legal requirements to do so have come to an end.
– Job candidates
Data contained on CVs and any other data provided in order to form part of our staff selection processes will be held for a period of two years after the selection process has come to an end. If Satlink feels that your CV may be of interest for future selection processes, it will ask the candidate for an update of said CV.
– Exercising rights and managing privacy
If you have exercised your right on matters of data protection or if need to process your data in compliance with legal obligations established by data protection regulations, your data will be held until the period required for any possible legal action has come to an end.

WHAT SECURITY MEASURES WILL WE APPLY TO YOUR DATA?
Satlink has taken all appropriate technical and organisational measures to guarantee a level of security appropriate to the risk, taking into account the state of the art, the costs of implementation and the nature, scope, context and purposes of processing as well as the risk of varying likelihood and severity for the rights and freedoms of natural persons.

HOW CAN YOU EXERCISE YOURS RIGHTS REGARDING YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
If you wish to withdraw your consent, and in order to exercise your rights of access, rectification, opposition, cancellation, limitation, portability and right not to be the subject of automated decisions, including profiling, you may send your written request to Carretera de Fuencarral, Arbea Campus Empresarial, Edificio 5, Planta baja, 28108, Alcobendas (Madrid) or email info@satlink.es.
Said request must include the person’s name and surname(s), a copy of the person’s national identity document, passport or other valid identity document, and as appropriate, that of their representative, as well as proof of said representation, address for service and the specific purpose of the request.
If you feel that your rights have not been addressed in accordance with the legislation in force, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

MANDATORY OR OPTIONAL NATURE OF THE DATA REQUESTED
The mandatory data that the user must enter on each form is identified as such with the label “(required)”. Refusal to provide said information will prevent any further communication with the user, and as appropriate will make it impossible to provide said user with the information and/or technical assistance requested.

USER COMMITMENTS
The user agrees to inform Satlink of any modification to the information provided. To report said modification, users should email info@satlink.es.
Furthermore, users with access to the restricted customers’ area agree  to keep their keys and identification codes a secret, and to inform Satlink as soon as possible of any loss, removal or unauthorised access.
Until such facts are reported, Satlink will be exempt from any liability that may arise from the misuse of any such user names or passwords by unauthorised third parties.
